Latest Pattern and Texture Design in Photoshop

I love weave knit patterns and I love soft blends of colored areas meeting. I had wanted to create something a while back that combined a natural weave with a soft blend. One thing that attracts me is colour combining. Probably attracts most artists and crafts persons ;-) It's exciting and fun!

Working here with some trendy and some just off the top of my head, I have created some 2 tone blended herringbone designs for use on complimentary designer home decor products.

It was a bit of work to get the herringbone pattern, pulled from Elements 9, to be non metallic looking and more of an even value gradation by using blending layers, then choose colours, use masks, a soft round brush, and voila!
