This was my first sort of major design undertaking upon coming back to Zazzle back in June 2013, after a hiatus of about 4 or 5 years. I decided I wanted to use my flower images coupled with one of my favourite themes; animal prints. I photographed a couple old pieces of clothing I had and reworked the animal print photos into graphics. I then chose varying flowers which worked with specific colour schemes, cut them out, cleaned up their edges, added some effects or corrected their color balance, white balance, contrast, sharpness, etc. I then created a textured section with a filter and kept one section just a plain gradated colour. It's a fun series and I really love it!
This is my latest. A water lily and zebra stripe. I gradated the zebra stripe background this time for a change. It softend the starkness of the black and white solid to better balance with the water lily.
